About us
WISTECON (Stefan Wirtz Communication Network) is a young company and was only founded in early 2024 by Stefan Wirtz.
Wirtz was employed by the West German RadioHe was, among other things, head of communications and corporate spokesman for WDR for several years - during this time also spokesman for ARD. Most recently, he was strategy coordinator in the HA program management under program director Jörg Schönenborn. To this day, Wirtz represents WDR in the Historical Commission of the ARD .
In the years before, he has also gained a wealth of experience in a wide variety of areas - for example, as head of
WDR Media Library
, for many years as responsible WDR editor of
